Nestled in the heart of Chesterfield, I am passionate about growing and buying seasonal blooms, to create memorable floral designs for every occasion.
One of my fondest childhood memories was assisting my Grandad, John Macfie (an RHS Chelsea Gold Medal Winner) grow Sweet Peas. I vividly recall skipping down row after row of delicate blooms, with their kaleidoscope of colour and divine scent.
Unsurprisingly, sweet peas are my favourite flower, hence the name of my shop!
A serious illness back in 2011, caused me to rethink my career, which is when I decided to follow my heart and retrain as a florist, with the dream of, one day, opening my own shop. Just over 9 years later, here I am.
After qualifying as a florist in 2012 I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most talented florists in our area, and have accumulated a wealth of valuable experience and knowledge of all things floral. In February 2018 I took the plunge and opened my floristry business, of which I am immensely proud.
I am as dedicated and enthusiastic now as I’ve ever been, I love what I do, and hope if you ever need a florist you will think of me.
