We received flowers from Sweetpea Macfie just under a year a go from one of our lovely customers when we opened our new... reception/shop, the flowers were gorgeous and in a lovely metal jug. Lots of our visitors commented on them. I hadn't heard about them before and they were only up the road and over the hill...I have recommended them lots in the last year and loved picking the odd bunch up from their driveway when passing through the village. At times like these we need to use and protect our local small businesses.read more

Marie is fantastic. We honestly can't recommend her highly enough. We planned our wedding within about 4 months and it... was a low budget and very casual affair; flowers were low on the list! I had actually considered just buying flowers and DYI-ing a simple bouquet and button hole but I (thankfully) decided it was likely to be a false economy. I called Marie with about a month to go and with a small budget and she was just brilliant at working within our wants and needs. She cares so much about what she does and really wants it to be good for you, so I am pretty sure it would be impossible to have made a bad decision with Marie! Even last minute changes were made easy and everything was just super quality on the day. The best part is that Marie wasn't afraid to keep things very simple -- single stem hydrangeas for the bridal party and a bright carnation with asparagus leaf for the buttons. The stems were absolutely top quality too. Very fair pricing too, which is pretty important when you have so much going out! You can't go wrong here - whatever you need and whatever end of the budget spectrum you are, Marie will sort you out.read more

Well what can I say about Marie other than she is amazing. She provided all the flowers for our wedding on the 6th... September and they were all gorgeous. Even 4 days later my bouquet looks stunning, the centrepieces were beautiful and our guests were honoured to be able to take them home. Marie worked with our design brief brilliantly and her advice around creating height in the room and framing the aisle were things we hadn't even thought about but pulled everything together perfectly.
